Overview
The Subscribers page is your central hub for understanding who has opted in to receive messages from your store. Use it to track subscriber growth, monitor cancellations, look up individual profiles, and manage subscriptions.
This article walks you through every section of the page so you can confidently read your data and take action when needed.
Subscriber Stats & Trends
At the top of the Subscribers page, you will see your total subscriber count along with trend indicators showing growth over the last 7 days and 30 days

Below the total count, a chart section gives you a closer look at subscriber activity over time. Click the dropdown in the upper-left corner of the chart to switch between three reports:
-
New Subscriptions
- Total Subscribers
- Cancelled Subscriptions
- Subscribers Count
- Cleaned
You can also select a custom date range to view stats for any time period you choose.
New Subscriptions Chart
This chart displays the number of new subscriptions per day. Hover over any column to see the exact number for that day.
A single subscriber can generate multiple subscriptions if they opt in to more than one channel (for example, both SMS and email).
Subscribers Count Chart
This chart tracks the total number of active subscribers your store has on any given day. Hover over the chart to view the count for a specific date.
Subscribers vs. Subscriptions: A subscriber is a unique person who has opted in to your list. A subscription is a connection to a specific channel (SMS, email, or Messenger). One subscriber can have multiple subscriptions — so your subscription count may be higher than your subscriber count.
Cancelled Subscriptions Chart
This chart shows the daily number of cancelled subscriptions — each time a subscriber opted out of a channel.
Cleaned Subscribers Chart
This chart shows a the daily number of cleaned subscribers that no longer can receive messages.

Profiles List View
Below the charts, you will find the Profiles section. This is a table listing every subscriber who has ever opted in to your list.
Each row displays the following information:
-
Profile picture — if available.
- Name — if available. If Recart does not have access to a subscriber's name (for example, they opted in using Guest Mode), a unique identifier number is displayed instead.
- Subscription channels — icons indicate which channels the subscriber has opted in to. A colored icon means the subscription is active; a grey icon means the subscriber has unsubscribed from that channel.
- Location — the subscriber's location, if available.
- Timezone — the subscriber's timezone.
- Last (un)subscribed — the date of the subscriber's most recent subscription or unsubscription event.
Searching and Filtering Profiles
Use the Search bar at the top of the Profiles section to look up subscribers by:
- Phone number
- First name
- Last name
- Email address
Note: Search works with individual terms only. For example, to find "John Smith," search for "John" or "Smith" separately — a full name search will not return results.
To narrow down your list further, open the Filters dropdown above the table. You can classify subscribers based on different criteria such as subscription channel, status, and more.

Subscriber Detailed View
Click on any subscriber's name to open their detailed profile. This view includes:
- Additional personal information (email, phone number, location)
- A complete subscription history showing opt-in and opt-out dates per channel

Manually Unsubscribing or Resubscribing
You can manually change a subscriber's status directly from their profile.
- Go to the Subscribers page.
- Click on the subscriber's name to open their detailed profile.
- Click the Edit button.
- Click Unsubscribe (or Resubscribe, if the subscriber is currently unsubscribed).
- Click Done to save your changes.

Important: Manually resubscribing a subscriber should only be done if the subscriber has explicitly requested it. Resubscribing someone without consent may violate compliance regulations.
Important: Toll-Free Numbers (TFN) — If a subscriber has previously texted STOP, the carrier blocks all messages at the network level. Manually resubscribing them in Recart will not override this block. The subscriber must first text START or UNSTOP to lift the carrier block before they can receive messages again, even if they are resubscribed through the dashboard or your popup.
Things to Note
- Subscriber name shows as "Subscriber": This means the person opted in through Guest Mode and Recart does not have access to their identifying information.
- Grey channel icons: A grey icon next to a subscriber's name means they have unsubscribed from that specific channel. They may still be active on other channels.
- Subscription count vs. subscriber count: These numbers may differ because one subscriber can hold multiple subscriptions across different channels.
