# Create and Manage Discount Codes Inside Recart

### Managing discount codes in Recart just got easier.

You can now generate and manage **both general and unique discount codes directly in the Recart app** — without needing to create them in Shopify first.

### What’s included in this update:

* **In-app creation** of generic and unique discount codes
* Support for **regenerating** (automated flows) and **one-off** (campaigns) pool types
* Updated **Discounts page** with status indicators and filter options
* Shopify sync for all Recart-created codes
* Option to **import existing Shopify discounts**
* Improved visibility and editing for usage limits, combinations, and eligibility

This release replaces the previous process of creating discount codes in Shopify and uploading them to Recart. You’ll now find all discount creation, editing, and usage assignment tools in one place.
