The Welcome Popup has already proven to be the most effective opt-in tool with an average engagement rate of 20%+. We took this to the next level and from now on the email first version of the Welcome Popup brings you the opportunity to gain Messenger and Email subscribers at the same time. 🚀
The main difference between the Welcome Popup and the email first version of the Welcome Popup, is that your visitor needs to provide the email address before subscribing to your Messenger list.
Please note: You can only use one of the Welcome Popups at the same time!
How to enable it?
You can locate the email first version of the Welcome Popup on the Opt-in Tools page.
Going into the editor, the first step is creating a Conversation Flow connected to it. Click on the Add Conversation Flow button. Once you do that, you'll be taken to the flow editor where you'll see a template, which you can customise. 👇
Working from the welcome flow's editor, don't forget to match the content of the conversation flow with the promise of the popup. For example, if you promised a discount code, you can simply include a message with the appropriate code.
Also, you will only be able to enable the email first version of the Welcome Popup, if you have added the Conversation Flow beforehand.
When you've created the Welcome flow, you can save it, and you'll be taken back to the editor, where you can make changes to your liking.
Here comes the second part, where you can edit the popup itself. You can add your logo and customise the popup to your own taste to match your brand and business.
You will see three different previews, and we automatically show you the correspondent one based on the field you are editing.
Once you are all set, click on Save and enable button, this will enable the email first version of the Welcome Popup and the Conversation Flow connected to it. 👍
How to track your statistics?
You will find statistics for the email first version of the Welcome Popup on the Opt-in Tools page.

Where can I access my email subscribers' addresses?
If you are not using our integrations, you will find your subscribers' email addresses on the Subscribers page only if they have opted-in to Messenger as well.
Nevertheless if your visitor provided just the email address without Messenger opt-in, this data can be exported.
