How to connect Recart to Omnisend?
In order to connect Recart to Omnisend, first you need to turn on the Omnisend integration from your Recart account. Go to the Integrations page and click on the Activate button.
Then, log in to your Omnisend account and navigate to Store Settings from your profile, in the upper right corner of the page.
Here you can create the API key the following way:
Store settings ➡️ Integrations & API ➡️ API Keys ➡️ Create API Key
Click on Create API key, then select "I want to set up custom permissions for this API key." Then it is essential that you have the Contacts permission ticked. This is required for Recart to sync subscribers to Omnisend. Then, click on the Save button.
Go back to the Integrations page, copy the API key created, paste it to the field and click on Connect to Omnisend.
Once this was done, the integration will be activated. You can deactivate it with the toggle on the top of the page.
In case you need to, you can change the API key by clicking on the Change button.
Subscribers who opt-in and provide their e-mail address or phone number after you activated the integration, will be synced to your Omnisend account.
What information will be synced between Recart and Omnisend?
The subscribers' first name, last name, gender, email address and phone number, if all of them was provided while subscribing. Omnisend will show the synced contacts with the text source: recart, it means those subscribers came from Recart.
Updating conversations with Save User Input
Now, all you need to do is add a Save User Input message to all conversation flows where you would like to collect emails and/or phone numbers from your visitors and customers.

Is there an option to sync previously collected emails to Omnisend?
Collected emails are synced to Omnisend immediately when the integration is enabled. Currently, there is no option to sync emails from Recart that were collected at a time when the integration was not enabled.
Can I export the email addresses displayed on the Recart Subscribers page?
There is no option on the Recart Dashboard export the collected email addresses to a file. If you need to export these emails, please discuss your options with our Customer Support team.
